Recent studies by Harvard University researchers show that meditation physically changes your brain’s gray matter for the better. Their research shows signs of improvement from a regular meditation practice including memory, sense of self, empathy and stress.
Starting in November, join, PranaShanti Owner and Director, Devinder Kaur, for a weekly meditation class where each week a different style of meditation is offered – all with the aim of being supportive for the times we are in!
Each 75-minute session includes discussion on the benefits of the type of meditation for the session, a brief and gentle physical yoga practice, followed by the opportunity to practice a different approach to meditation each week.
We will experience different types of meditations including focused contemplation, breath meditations, Yoga Nidra and other strategies that you can also easily incorporate into your daily life and your yoga practice or teaching.
